Practically since I've been conscious of music her melodies have played in my psyche, from Tell Me Something Good, Smokin Room, Echoes of an Era, Ain't Nobody, I'll Be Good To You, Through the Fire, What Cha Gonna Do For Me, Angel, and so many more. In the 70's you could hear a Chaka Khan song from every window in the summer breeze. She'll always be numero uno to any mother raising girls.
