Ava Gardner, Elizabeth Taylor, Carmen De Lavallade, Audrey Hepburn, Gladys Knight, Barbara McNair, Demi Moore, Beverly Johnson, Iman, Tia Carrere, Halle Berry, Jennifer Hudson, Tyra Banks, Angela Bassett, Sophia Loren, Sheila E, Mel B, Leona Lewis, and the Kardashian girls are testaments to brunette power, however it's been said blondes have more fun. Now that changing the color of your hair from, green to blue to honey blonde, or platinum is at every woman's command like changing your shoes ... Women of today are not confined by any barriers beyond the equality of the dollar, and their quintessential strength. Income equality is still out of reach for the majority of women, although it's getting better, and better with time.
Most modern female entertainers have mastered the soft feminity of Marilyn Monroe in a cat suit, packed with Charo's "Gucci Gucci" excitement. Translating to a percentage of every day women who compete as a given necessity in this century for men's attention, and a chance at the female Superbowl ring. Entertainers know the easiest way to launch a bank account is by being a blonde boom boom glitter girl, with razzamatazz for days. With the advent of Bravo television reality shows about self absorbed women, and spin offs across network platforms have some everyday women thinking, not to be outdone are adopting a flashy strategy to keep their man from getting lost in various platforms of virtual reality, and taking them for granted in the real world, or keeping their distance for fear of a selfish vs selfless woman to settle down with.
Some women like men, are saying whatever it takes to get to the next level of love, or business is a practical step whether it is a conscious, or sub conscious decision in many cases with their children in mind. Women are jewels to be cherished whether quiet, or bold.
If a woman walks down the street in a bikini she's still in a protected class, and no means no. She's similar in that case to young black men with saggy pants. They think they're being fashionable, so they follow the crowd, and wear what suits them, even if it means McDonalds, Wendys, Taco Bell, Subway, or Burger King might be the only place willing to hire them. We live in times when a woman can dress any way she pleases, whether it's like an entertainer on stage, uniquely, or like Dianne Keaton in the public sphere, and it's all acceptable. Women's opinions are on many levels about femininity, style, and assertiveness, some women keep the goodies hidden, and others display them 24/7, just weekends, or every now, and then. It's all a matter of choice up to the individual woman, based on her confidence level, sensitivity level, and profession.
Yesterdays songs were filled with supreme love, and angst. Today's tracks are telling each other what we won't accept as women, while men are telling us what they desire with a dash of romance still around.
Perhaps 2016 will be the year of love creating the bronze age of hollywood.

Quote by Mae West: When I'm good I'm very, very good, but when I'm bad, I'm better.
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Too much of a good thing can be wonderful.
