Just as with the void of Oprah's syndicated tv show leaving the air for Ms. Winfrey to launch the OWN Network, we'll soon miss our regal, vivacious, yet earthy First Lady Michelle Obama's presence. However we Grandmother's, Sisters, and Daughters now have Kelly Rowland : Chasing Destiny, and Mariah Carey : Mariah's World to fill the void whether you have female family members you're close to, or you no longer have teachers in your life with female energy, these are the legendary super soul sisters on the block to talk the talk, and walk the walk. To make you laugh, think, and maybe shed a tear or two. Reality at it's best with a dash of testosterone.
Good God! Mariah's launching a new phase to her enterprise. Those talent agents ought to be developing a kids movie for those adorable dem babies if they can conceptualize their lines... I hope there's some beauty tips, and reliable products everyday people can attain. Since Mariah is a whiz with product placement, her fragrances might be center stage, in addition to the power of sustained faith over time in a world crying for sincerity, and value. #MariahsWorld
Some might wonder why Mariah Carey would do a reality show after the habitual detractors tore pieces of Whitney Houston's soul apart. Whitney Houston sung a song, "The Greatest Love of All" that is still raising girls, guys, and anyone who listens with dignity everyday. Whitney's hero spirit lives on in all of us. We've come a long way since Barbra Streisand produced, and starred in Yentl. Glitter girls, and mentor girls, and guys.
My perception of Mariah Carey is that she is the consummate New Yorker not scared of nuthin, except sometimes. She's a don't hate me cause I'm beautiful girl, she's an aging beauty, she's a business woman, she's a loved, and envied figure who's not afraid to appreciate her contemporaries. She's a trend setter, an icon, superstar, modern woman, and diva in the traditional sense due to her talent. The only thing to expect is the 411 on how to deal with life for the millions of girls she's raised in the last 20 years, humility, munchkin sweetness, swift responses to entertainment surprises, some slap stick skits thrown in for the lambs, and the instigators. That James Packer is a Hunk. That silly Nick Cannon brought laughs to the table. What else, I guess you'll have to tune in each week? I will :)
All these ladies are bosses, with hearts to spare in spite of being the center of attention 24/7 rain, sleet, snow, or sunshine, and always at their best for years at a time. bop bop bop ba ba super soul sisters ... Thank you, Michelle & Mariah. Love forever & a day.

April 11 - Happy Birthday Mariah ...
Post Script : Mariah's World was cute, wild, and entertaining. I hope it gets a second season if she goes on another world tour where her vans get to see other parts of the world from her perspective. The air that is Mariah is still a cool breeze.
The love balladeer is still searching for love once she takes a deep breath. Yet all I have to say is she has some good taste in men from the scenery aspect. Bryan Tanaka, Nic Cannon, James , Tommy Mottolla and her other guys were all good looking. Tommy Mottolla had to talk about Mariah in his book, because she's apparently unforgettable, and a treasure he wants the whole world to know he let her dazzle first. Thank you, Tommy. Mariah has uplifted my soul many a day.
