National Poetry Month - Time Passes By

Time Passes By
by Patricia Britt

My mind runs on empty.
Then again is it in an aural search?
Where hearts lead to choices,
In artistic realization of symphony's shade?

We must connect the valleys,
And reach the peaks to flow with purpose,
To achieve unity,
From amber to violet time passes by,
Ticking with freedom's echo,
In the cries of years gone by.

I watch the clock's stars of a story materialize.
I reach to the author of true sky reality to free my soul,
And seek heart's sychronization in values that matter.

The universal soul is in the timeless eyes of the sky,
Through infinity for all to feel our prayer time into time.

2015 Earth Day Summer Breezes

Today it snowed in April. Last Friday it was 73 degrees? Temperatures reached below zero degrees several times this winter in the Midwest, and North East. It's snowing the South more often, and California is rationing water.

Climatologist say the fluctuations of the weather will be more severe if we don't decrease our fossil fuel consumption world wide. When are we going to begin to value nature collectively, and turn around our chances for water consumption, and nice summer breezes? It's time for a bike ride, frisbe throwing, fly kites, and lots of water.
